Google has announced that average position in Google-adword will officially retire on Monday, September 30. From 30th Sep 2019, you’ll no longer check the metric in your Google Ad account.
According to advertisers, average position is one of the nest statistics that describes how your ad typically ranks against other competitor ads. This rank determines in which order your ads appear on the page. According Google SERP, positions 1-8 generally appear on the 1st page while 9-16 on the 2nd.
But its bad news that the average position option will be disabled in Google-ads and it will no longer be available starting September 30, 2019….
